The NEW AMERICAN FICTION PRIZE is awarded each year to a full-length fiction manuscript, such as a story collection, novel, novella(s), or something that blends forms, like a novel in verse. The winner receives $1,500 and a book contract, as well as 25 author's copies and promotional support. The submission period is usually February 15 - June 15, but please check individual contests for most updated deadlines.
