New American Press will host a reading event at St. John’s Bar and Eatery on Thursday, March 9, beginning at 6:00pm. The event will be held in conjunction with the annual conference of the Association of Writers and Writing Conferences. Entry is free and open to the public. Cocktails and other refreshments are included.
We will celebrate the forthcoming launch of Maija Mäkinen’s debut story collection, The Ghosts of Other Immigrants (due to launch June 6, 2023) and the recent release of Sara Fetherolf’s debut poetry collection Via Combusta, as well as the forthcoming publication of Gabriella Graceffo’s essay “Stigmata,” which was shortlisted for the 2023 MAYDAY Creative Nonfiction Prize, and recent New American Poetry Prize winner Maya Jewell Zeller.
