All internships provide opportunity to work on projects at both New American Press and MAYDAY Magazine. We’re based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but have editors and interns all over the country.
INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Editorial Intern:
The Editorial Intern aids in sorting submissions; responding to email queries; conducting a variety of research projects; and performing basic administrative tasks as needed.
Marketing Intern:
The Marketing Intern helps to maintain social media accounts, help write press releases and create press kits, brainstorm publicity campaigns, and more.
Production and Design Intern:
The Production and Design Intern helps to create branded materials including advertisements (print and digital), web banners, fliers, event invitations, signage, mail campaigns, and more. They also assist with formatting files, and performing basic editorial and administrative tasks as needed.
